President Akufo-Addo on Sunday, May 31 addressed the nation on measures taken against the spread of coronavirus in the country.
This was the President’s tenth address since the outbreak of the disease in Ghana.
Prior to this address, many have called for the ban on social gatherings and the closure of the country’s borders to be lifted.
The extended ban which expires on Sunday, May 31, 2020, has affected all activities including church services, political rallies, workshops, conferences, burials and festivals.
Meanwhile, Ghana has confirmed 8, 070 cases of the coronavirus with 36 deaths.
