Black Stars player, Christian Atsu has announced the demise of his mother.
The incident happened a couple of hours ago and the Newcastle winger shared the news on his Facebook page.
“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure as you left us today #RIPMum,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to reports, Madam Afiko had been battling an undisclosed illness for a while now.
