Sensational Ghanaian Gospel artist, Diana Hamilton emerged as the winner in the Artiste Of The Year category at the just ended 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). She was nominated alongside tough competitors like KiDi, Adina, Sarkodie, Medikal, and Kuami Eugene.
Winning in addition to the ultimate award, the Adom (Grace) hitmaker bagged three other awards on the night namely; Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, and Gospel Song of the Year.
Diana Hamilton during the appreciation speech, thanked her fans, the management team, her family, the media, all of the sundry who have supported her through her journey and in the year under review.
Lastly, Diana Hamilton sets the record as the first female Gospel artiste to take home the Artist Of The Year award in VGMA’s 22-year history.
