Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur, John Dumelo has asked the Canadian security team who were flown into the country to help find the kidnapped Canadian girls to stay back and help find the missing Takoradi girls.
According to him, he is willing to pay for their accommodation.
The two Canadian nationals, Lauren Patricia Catherine Tilley, 19; and Bailey Jordan Chitly, 20 who were abducted last week were freed in the early hours of Wednesday, 12 June 2019 at Sawaba, Kumasi, a week after their abduction.
Meanwhile, the location of the three Ghanaian girls kidnapped in Takoradi, 18-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, last seen on 21 December 2018; 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum, last seen on 17 August 2018; and 18-year-old Ruth Love Quayson, last seen on 4 December 2018, since August last year is still unknown.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, John Dumelo wrote:
Can the Canadians who came to rescue the kidnapped Canadian citizens please stay on for like a week more and help us find our missing Takoradi girls? I will pay for accommodation I beg.
