The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced that the implementation of the Energy Sector Levies (Amendment) Act, 2025 (Act 1141), will officially begin on July 16, 2025, following a temporary suspension last month.

The fire started at the top floor offices the GRA Head Office Annex but spread fast to other adjoining offices. Eyewitnesses said thick black smoke began to fill the clear Sunday sky around 9:00 am before the flames became visible.
