In 2017, Shatta Wale and Burna Boy released a street anthem dubbed ‘Hosanna‘ which gained solid grounds in the countries they both represent. In this same year, Burna Boy had an encounter with the police in 2017 following the scandal where he was accused of sending robbers to the singer, Mr 2Kay in Eko Hotels and Suites on Victoria Island. This was the incident Shatta Wale posted on his Instagram status pertaining to the 2017 Eko Hotel police case.
