“Songbird” Gyakie has stated that she dislikes comparisons because fans end up pitching their favorites against each other.
The “Forever” hitmaker, who has steadily climbed her way unto the musical ladder, in an interview with AJ Sarpong on Citi FM expressed that artists are different in their own way and in their own crafts, hence, should be enjoyed as individuals minus the comparisons.
“Comparisons are not great. I per se, do not like it when I’m compared to other singers because one ends up being disrespected. I feel we need to support all artists and not pitch them against one another,” she said in the interview.
