Ghanaian-American singer Moliy has announced the official remix of her hit single “Shake It To The Max”, featuring Jamaican dancehall stars Shenseea and Skillibeng.
The original track, which featured Jamaican producer Silent Addy, gained global recognition, with both Shenseea and Skillibeng sharing their versions on social media.
Following the buzz and success, particularly in the Caribbean, the much-anticipated remix is now set for release.
Moliy took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news. “I just announced an official remix with Skillibeng and Shenseea! I REPEAT I JUST ANNOUNCED AN OFFICIAL REMIX WITH SKILLIBENG AND SHENSEA.” She also unveiled the official artwork and revealed the release date as February 21, 2025.
While fans have reacted excitedly, some questioned the absence of British rapper Stefflon Don, who was among the top stars covering the original song. One fan wrote, ‘
“I’m not happy tbh – u know @StefflonDON will be fire and u chose not to add her on it – will hers ever come out with you ? Will it ? How many remixes do they need to be ?! U shouldn’t have left steff out … when is the Don one coming ?”
In response, Moliy reassured fans, saying, “It will come out. Love Steff,” suggesting future plans may involve Stefflon Don.
