The Sir Richie Foundation, led by philanthropist Richard Appiah-Kubi, is set to bring smiles to the faces of orphans and the less privileged with a heartwarming event dubbed “Funfair with Orphans.”

The program is scheduled for Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Ashtown near Konadu Yiadom Park Filling Station in Kumasi.

The upcoming event promises a day full of joy, entertainment, and shared love, with the presence of several Ghanaian celebrities, including popular actors Nana Yeboah, Dr Likee, and many others expected to grace the occasion.

According to Richard Appiah-Kubi, founder and CEO of Sir Richie Foundation, the idea behind the funfair is deeply personal.

“I went through my darkest moments for a whole year, and I told God that if I recover from it, I will throw a big party for the less privileged and orphans. I’m doing this based on that promise,” he shared.

The event will serve as a celebration of life and recovery and a powerful demonstration of giving back and standing in solidarity with vulnerable children in society.

The foundation is calling on individuals, groups, and corporate bodies to come on board to support the initiative and help spread joy to those who need it most.
