Veteran Ghanaian rapper and poet, Omar Sterling finally unveiled his debut album on the 22nd Of June 2021 after a prolonged holdup.
Apparently Paedeezy as he’s fondly also called made the initial announcement for the release of the album on August 11, 2020, which he did go back on his word. This very same action repeated itself after fixing a new date for September 7th, 2020.
This shifty manners of Omar Sterling sparked mixed feelings amongst his fans and the music-consuming populace in general. In the interim, Omar Sterling as R2Bees teamed up with Sarkodie on the Christmas jam ‘Yawa’. Following the success of this tune, he went on his usual hiatus only to return with another release date for his eagerly awaited album ‘Same Earth Different Worlds’ on the 17th of June 2021. Succeeding this development was the outdooring of the official album cover and tracklist on the 21st of June 2021.
Then again, the fans had little doubts after all the substantial evidence of an official release coming on as a result of past events. Finally on the 22nd Of June 2021, Omar Sterling shared a streaming link to the 20 tracklisting album on Audiomack. Within minutes of release, Same Earth Different Worlds was all up in the trends on Twitter as fans and music critics shared their view points.
