The Ministry of Education has released the 2021/2022 school placements today.
“…the 2021/2022 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High Schools (SHS)/ Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes, will go live on Saturday, 26th March 2022,” the Ministry of Education said in a press release.
According to the Ministry, out of the total number of 571,892 registered candidates, 555,353 candidates qualified to be placed.
Out of the 555,353 who qualified, a total of 367,811 candidates have successfully been automatically placed in one of their choices.
The remaining 187,542 qualified candidates, however, could not be matched with any of their choices.
For such students, the Ministry of Education has recommended they undergo a self-placement procedure to choose a school from a list of available schools.
