Veteran American rapper, Earl Simmons widely known as DMX has been confirmed dead by his Family at the age of 50.
The family in a Statement announced that the actor passed away few days after he suffered heart attack and was placed on life support.
The family wrote, “We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days,”
“Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” the family continued. “He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him.”
Artists, athletes and other celebrities across the world have paid tribute to him on social media.
