Veteran Ghanaian actor, Ekow Blankson has been confirmed dead.
Ekow Blankson, who was the Commercial Manager of the well-known online news portal Ghanaweb, is said to have died today.
The news was announced on Multimedia’s Hitz FM’s Twitter page, but no details about the legendary movie star’s death were revealed.
Prior to joining Ghanaweb, Ekow was the Director of Brands and Corporate Communications at Media General.
Ekow Blankson was well-known for his roles in films such as Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, and Pool Party, among others.
He graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, with a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama).
Mr. Blankson also earned a marketing certificate from the Heineken Global Commerce University in Amsterdam.
Before his death, Ekow Blankson revealed that he discovered his talent for acting and other creative activities in class two.
