SOUTHERN ZONE

Hasaacas Ladies vs Lady Strikers

Hasaacas Ladies will be facing third-placed Lady Strikers in a mouth-watering Saturday afternoon clash in Takoradi.

The “dooo” ladies haven’t caught the eye so far, they are seventh on the log with no point so far.

They were on course for an upset at McDan Community Park last weekend, when they led by a goal, but Police Ladies produced two late goals to turn things around.

Nevertheless, it was an encouraging start for Hasaacas Ladies.

The real deal will be on this Saturday when they lock horns with Lady Strikers.

With the Essipong sports stadium being the home grounds for Hasaacas Ladies they will want to prove superiority over lady strikers who will love another win to help maintain their second position.

Hasaacas Ladies will also be keen to record their first home match win of the season.

Immigration Ladies vs Police ladies

The standout contest will be the clash between bottom placed immigration ladies and league leaders Police ladies at the McDan La community park.

The Police Ladies have looked like strong title contenders this season on the evidence of their two resounding victories.

For Immigration ladies, this looks another tough match to end their woes. The mantle to revive the Immigration Ladies on week 3 will be on veteran Adjoa Bayo.

Captain Harrietta Annie’s defensive exploits and Strikers Ruth Appiah and Grace Animah’s sharpness upfront will be vital to the Service Ladies against the struggling Immigration Ladies who are still seeking for their first points.

Halifax vs Soccer Intellectuals

Halifax Ladies will play host to Soccer Intellectuals at the Tema Sports Stadium this Sunday. Both teams enjoyed resounding away wins on matchday two.

Halifax will want to keep their title hopes alive after a 2-0 mauling over Samaria Ladies. Soccer Intellectuals are also poised to keep up their winning streak.

Sea Lions vs Samaria Ladies

The Sea Lions placed sixth on the table to welcome Samaria Ladies who are seventh on the table will battle it out at the Paa Kwesi Ndoum stadium.

Both teams dropped vital points in the last matchday and would be desperate to bounce back.

Sea Lions will once again rely on the brilliance of Cecelia Hagan who was adjudged player of the match in their last encounter.

NORTHERN ZONE

Northern Ladies vs Ashtown Ladies

Northern Ladies were crashed 4-0 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman against Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

The team will definitely be looking to bounce back from that heavy defeat heading into matchday three at home against Ashtown Ladies.

Ashtown Ladies come into this tie at the back of a goalless draw in their Ashanti Derby at the Paa Joe Park.

With reliable forward, Jafara Rahaman, defenders of Ashtown will have to be better than they were at Kumasi on Sunday.

Fabulous Ladies vs Ampem Darkoa

Ampem Darkoa have experienced an overwhelming start to their 2019-20 campaign at the Ohene Ameyaw Park recording nine goals in their two first two games.

Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah scoring six out the nine.

They travel for their first away match against Fabulous ladies at the WESCO Park, Kumasi on Sunday.

On matchday 2, the ‘Nana mma’ embarrassed Northern Ladies 4-0 at home and they will also be looking forward to recording their third successive win this. Are Ampem Darkoa ready to swallow their prey again or fabulous ladies will be wounded at their own territory?

Prisons Ladies vs Pearl Pia

Pearl pia ladies displayed a spirited performance last weekend to shock Supreme Ladies with a 3-0 defeat.

Prison Ladies, however, looked fragile and vulnerable after splitting points with Kumasi Sports Academy.

Supreme Ladies vs Kumasi Sports Academy

Supreme Ladies have gone two matches without a win and will welcome a rejuvenated Kumasi sports academy on Sunday at the Paa Joe Park.

Kumasi Sports Academy who have drawn all their two matches so far in the league are likely to split another point or record their first win against the Supreme Ladies.

KUSA are currently fourth on the northern zone league table.
